South Boston Restaurant Updates Menu with Seasonally Inspired Selections

(BOSTON, MA) [November 9th, 2017] – Coppersmith, South Boston’s vintage-industrial restaurant, is welcoming fall with a new menu inspired by New England’s seasonal bounty. Executive Chef Jason Heard introduces fresh ingredients and produce to the menu just in time for autumn.
To start, guests can enjoy seasonally-inspired appetizers including Brussels Gratin with bacon, cream, and crispy panko, Cider Braised Bacon with cheddar grits and pickled red onion, and Roasted Bone Marrow with pickled Thai bird chile and apple chutney. For fall-inspired entrees, guests can enjoy dishes like Squash Risotto with Farmer Sam’s squash, dried cranberry, parmesan, and sage, Brined + Grilled Pork Chop with apple chutney, herb spaetzle and Vermont maple, or sandwich selections like the Granny Melt with Virginia Ham, American and Swiss cheese, dijonnaise and grilled marble rye. Top off the night with an indulgent dessert like Apple Cider Crème Brulee, and Seasonal Bread Pudding with ariquipe and whipped cream. Coppersmith Café also recently launched a unique twist on a beloved classic with house-made Savory Pop Tart selections that include Roasted Pork with apple butter, braised cabbage and caraway seeds, Braised Fig with chèvre, balsamic, red onion, bacon, fig spread, and gorgonzola, and Turkey with spinach, parmesan, and tomato.
Pair any delicious dish with classic Coppersmith seasonal cocktails such as Spiced Pumpkin-tini with 888 coffee liqueur, Bailey’s Irish cream, and spiced pumpkin hot chocolate, Autumn Side Car with d’usse, triple sec, ginger beer, fresh lemon juice, and all spice simple syrup, Coppersmith Hard Cider with 888 cranberry vodka, apple cider, apple pucker, Gosling’s Ginger Beer, and a caramel cinnamon sugar rim or Coppersmith’s seasonal sangrias including Red Citrus (Red) with Cotes du Rhone, citrus rum, crème de peach and fresh fruit, or Winter Sangria (White) with white wine, Xante pear liqueur, 888 cranberry vodka, apple cider caramel, ginger beer and cinnamon sticks (glass or pitcher).
Coppersmith is open seven days a week for lunch, dinner and bar service as well as brunch on the weekends. Guests can dine inside the vintage-industrial restaurant or enjoy the last days of al fresco dining with a relaxed meal and drink on Coppersmith’s patio. Guests can also grab drinks on the Airdeck from the vintage Airstream serving craft beer, wine and seasonal cocktails while enjoying the view of South Boston and Fort Point.

Coppersmith is a dynamic venue with multiple spaces serving globally-influenced sharable plates from Executive Chef Jason Heard in a vintage-industrial warehouse. Located on the border of the South Boston, Fort Point and Seaport neighborhoods, the building was constructed in 1894 as the home to a copper fabricator and has since been refurbished to retain aesthetic elements including reclaimed steel, restored brick and exposed timbers.
Coppersmith serves lunch, dinner and bar service seven days a week as well as brunch service on weekends. The Airdeck overlooking South Boston offers a classically-outfitted vintage Airstream serving craft beer, wine and specialty seasonal cocktails with a picnic-style atmosphere where guests can choose from a variety of platters that serve up to 10 guests in authentic Radio Flyer Wagons and enjoy fun group games like cornhole. The Coppersmith Café is located at the front of the restaurant and is an intimate and sociable neighborhood cafe that serves artisan small batch coffee beverages from Blue Fire Coffee Roasters as well as house-made pastries and various made to order breakfast & lunch items. The café is open weekdays from 7AM – 4PM and weekends from 8AM-11:00 AM.
