Wake Forest, NC (PRURGENT) -- Yeimi Santana is a personal finance specialist and mom passionate about personal finances, improvement and family. Through her blog https://mominthemirror.us, Santana is creating awareness about domestic financial abuse, which is the number one reason why domestic violence survivors stay or return to the abusive relationship. A research conducted by the National Network to end Domestic Violence, showed that financial abuse occurs in 98 percent of any abusive relationship.
“I am passionate and inspired by every mom who has to struggle with domestic financial abuse. I want my new blog to be the place where moms can find the most authentic and helpful strategies and resources to prevent and break free from financial abuse, since it is an almost invisible, yet powerful, form of domestic abuse”, Santana said.
Her passion and commitment to advocate against financial abuse is rooted to her teenage years when she witnessed how a loved one was being a victim of financial abuse.
This Latina mom knows how difficult finances can seem for moms and Santana´s passionate to help moms to be more literate, confident and in charge of their finances so they can become financially self-sufficient and embrace their present and future without guilt and fear, being able to support themselves and their family in order to prevent or break free from domestic financial abuse in their lives, even without their partner´s support.
The blog will share Santana´s life experience, as well as her perspective on the journey to achieve financial self-sufficiency for the life, family and finances every mom envisions.
