February 26, 2018— Heat Holders, a company that is redefining thermal clothing, recently announced its Photo Contest Winner, Janmay, for her stunning photograph of her in Heat Holders gear. As the Grand Prize winner, Janmay has won an iPhone X to continue taking photos of her adventures.
With this promotion, Heat Holders encouraged participants to creatively show how they use their Heat Holders winter gear. They also offered weekly gift card prizes in addition to the grand prize. Heat Holders caught up with grand prize winner Janmay to talk about her photo and Heat Holders adventures.
Heat Holders: Congratulations! How did you hear about Heat Holders?
Janmay: I have been following Heat Holders Instagram account for a while now to follow the products that I use and to stay updated…I think since 2015. I use heat holder socks, base layer top, and warm leggings.
Heat Holders: What benefits do you get from Heat Holders products? What activities do you wear them for?
Janmay: They keep me warm. Actually, my boyfriend and I use Heat Holder products as a base layer. since we love the outdoors. We use them when we go for a hike in winter or snowboarding or snowshoeing. It keeps out toes warm.
Heat Holders: Are you a photography buff?
Janmay: I am not a professional photographer nor did study photography. I don’t even own an SLR but I love taking photos. I love editing photos. It’s my passion. All my photos in my Instagram account are taken on my GoPro or my Samsung phone. Now that I have an iPhone X, I am looking forward to using it!
Heat Holders: What inspired you to take the winning photo?
Janmay: The beauty of the Rockies inspired me to take that photo. That photo was taken in Little Lougheed in Kananaskis. It was an accomplishment for me. I am not a pro hiker so I find that hike hard. Seeing that makes me feel proud of myself and my friends because we were able to reach the summit.
Heat Holders: How did you feel when you were notified that you won?
Janmay: I was in shock. I couldn't believe it. I did not know at first because I was at work when my friend texted me that I won. I did not believe her at first but then when I checked my Instagram account it was really me who won. I was overwhelmed, happy, felt very blessed and thankful.
Heat Holders: How did your friends and family react?
Janmay: I was so happy I posted it on my Facebook story. Most of my friends saw it and were very happy for me. They think I am a lucky woman and should try lottery! My mom on the other hand wants the iPhone X.
Heat Holders: How do you plan on using the iPhone X?
Janmay: Well for now it is still in the box because the case and screen protector are still on its way. I plan to take more photos with my new iPhone X. Also, I am grateful because it has lots of storage! More photos in my gallery for sure!
Heat Holders: Have you heard of Gentle Grip socks?
Janmay: Yes, I've heard of gentle grip socks. In fact, I own a couple pairs. They look good and they feel good as well. So comfy!
