Planet Fitness' donation to the A.G. Gaston Boys & Girls Club celebrates a commitment to anti-bullying efforts, as well as the official opening of a new Bessemer location FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT
BESSEMER, AL (February 7, 2018)— On February 6, Planet Fitness presented a $5,000 oversized check to the A.G. Gaston Boys & Girls Club to honor the official grand opening of its new Bessemer club, the seventh in the Birmingham area.
The donation was given during a 10:00 a.m. ribbon cutting ceremony that took place at the new Planet Fitness club, located at 528 West Town Plaza. The gift will benefit the Boys & Girls Club’s anti-bullying efforts, and represents Planet Fitness’ commitment to investing in the Birmingham area community through a number of goodwill initiatives.
