iBuild Central Florida's new Invitational Event Chairwoman announced in the July Board meeting. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT
iBuild Central Florida based in Winter Park, FL is excited to announce that Tina Craft, Strategic Solutions Architect with local benefits insurance consultancy Fringe Benefit Plans, Inc. has been elected as the iBuild Invitational Committee Chair. In this role, Ms. Craft will lead a team of industry professionals focused on creating a dynamic interactive local event designed to identify new talent from the local youth and adult education systems (high school and vocational/technology centers) who want to pursue a career in the construction industry. The first annual event will include a skills building competition, industry job fair and exciting recruiting draft.
iBuild Founder & President Debbie Rodriguez announced Ms. Craft’s appointment at their monthly board meeting July 10, 2018. Ms. Rodriquez commented “Tina has demonstrated time and again her desire to serve the iBuild vision and our community. We are excited that she will be leading the iBuild Invitational event and make it a dynamic one that the building and construction industry, as well as the Central Florida community, will embrace and look forward to each year.”
iBuild brings local education systems and the construction industry together to create career pathways into the construction industry. Introducing the career world of construction to a new workforce at an earlier time in life and engaging employees to consider transferring their skill sets and career path to the world of construction. “It’s my hope that the Invitational becomes an annual event introducing local employers to a vibrant and eager workforce that will help their companies, their customers, our community and the individuals…a win-win-win-win!” says Ms. Craft.
