For the second year in a row, estate planner Terri Hilliard has won the prestigious "Trailblazer" Award from the San Fernando Valley Business Journal. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT
Terri Hilliard, owner and founder of Terri Hilliard PC, Estate, Elder and Special Needs Law, received her second “Trailblazer” award in a row from the San Fernando Valley Business Journal. Her recognition came at the Journal’s “Trusted Advisors” awards ceremonies held at the Garland Hotel North Hollywood, CA August 9 with some 100 professionals from a wide variety of business disciplines in attendance.
Hilliard’s practice centers on estate, elder care, and special needs planning, business succession planning, asset protection, special needs trusts, living wills and trusts, healthcare directives, family protection planning, planned giving, and general business formation and facilitation. The law firm also serves as a private mediator, assisting families, elders, individuals, and businesses in resolving disputes.
She has spent the past decade helping senior and special needs communities, working with them to finding beneficial programs and resources to improve their qualities of life. Hilliard is also very active in her service areas as a volunteer and board member of Senior Concerns of the Conejo. She founded the successful Pro Bono Panel of Attorneys called “Legal Concerns” for the Senior Concerns program, lending their expertise in elder care, estate planning, mediation, and planned giving.
Hilliard is also a board member of Pause4kids, which provides scholarships for special needs school children to fill the gaps. Her work with the Conejo Valley Senior Concerns helps provide services to elders and their caregivers in the area. And, as a member of the Moorpark Morning Rotary, she continues giving back to her community in a variety of ways. |
