RightQuest Announces Development of The Flats at ShadowGlen in Booming Austin Suburb of Manor


Located within the 1,400-acre ShadowGlen Master Plan Development, the luxury community’s first units will be available for occupancy in the summer of 2019.

RightQuest ShadowGlen Flats, LLC, an affiliate of Dallas-based developer RightQuest, recently broke ground on the 248-unit luxury apartment community located in the Austin suburb of Manor. The property is being constructed within Phase 1 of the 1,400-acre ShadowGlen Master Plan Development and is located at the northwest corner of ShadowGlen Trace and 973. RightQuest is developing the property on behalf of a locally-based partnership with Dwyer Realty Companies.

The Flats at ShadowGlen will offer in-unit amenities like private patios/balconies, 9-foot ceilings, large walk-in closets, gourmet kitchens with stainless steel appliances, front-load washers and dryers, wood-style flooring and granite countertops. The development will also be one of the first from RightQuest to offer Amazon’s smart home features which allows residents to unlock their door, adjust the temperature, turn off lights and play music throughout their home all from their phone.

Residents of The Flats at ShadowGlen will have Class A community amenities including a covered front porch with plush seating and TVs; clubhouse with a media center and modern farmhouse design; luxury resort-style swimming pool with a poolside cabana and BBQ areas; multiple outdoor gas fire pits; private dog yards and a large dog park; community pavilion with string lighting; business center; state-of-the-art fitness center with a designated yoga space; detached garages; onsite storage facilities and covered parking. There is also a rain garden courtyard onsite, helping to improve water quality and reduce water pollution in natural creeks and streams.

The Flats at ShadowGlen are less than a mile off US 290 (Manor Expressway), providing direct east-west access to 130, 183, I-35 and downtown Austin. The multifamily development is located within the ShadowGlen Masterplan Development, which includes the 18-hole ShadowGlen Golf Course encompassing a driving range, grill and pro shop.

RightQuest and Dwyer Realty Companies began working on the project in early 2017, bringing onboard the Plano architectural firm Cross Architects and the Austin-based civil engineering firm Kimley-Horn to coordinate the design. The general contractor for the project is Austin-based Journeyman Construction, LLC. Mason Joseph Company originated the construction financing for the project and BBG Inc. provided the market feasibility and demand analysis.
