FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT

Sydney, Australia, 31st October 2018. Trilingual transmedia copywriter and science fiction enthusiast Sydney Kovaks has launched today her first interactive escape novella. The nineteen chapters in “Everett’s Portal” challenge the reader to decipher codes, resolve enigmas and test their intellectual and logical abilities while enthralling them with a fascinating story that navigates through different timelines and multiple locations.

“Like many of my readers, I have fallen prey to the escape fever taking over the world!” explains Kovaks. “Being a speculative fiction lover since very young, I thought combining the interactive adventures of an escape game with the thrills of science fiction would be a very interesting exercise! And what better way to do it than paying a homage to one of the most brilliant minds of the twentieth century, a scientist so far ahead of his time that ended up being shunt by the conservative academic community of his time?”
Sydney is the founder at Coco Station, the only digital communication and design agency specialising in the escape industry. As a trilingual transmedia copywriter, Sydney has been breathing, living and writing fascinating stories every single day for the past decade.

Everett’s Portal” tells the story of Ari Kim - a Eurasian physics student in the Austin of the seventies and eighties. Driven by a sad tragedy and her unabashed admiration for the person and the work of Professor Everett, Ari finds herself entrapped in many unexpected adventures that may (or may not) change the course and events of our history (and that of endless other events and histories no one is aware of!). Ari is forced to challenge her intellectual and logical abilities throughout the book, and so is the reader!

The interactive challenges in this escape book have been meticulously illustrated in a beautiful futuristic retro aesthetic that offers readers an unforgettable overall experience.

Everett’s Portal is the first of a series of three interactive books to be published in upcoming months.
The book can be purchased at Amazon in Kindle and Paperback formats, here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/0648450805.
