Common Desk expands to Addison

Cawley Partners and Common Desk partner on North Dallas coworking installation

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT

Common Desk, a Dallas-based coworking company and workday amenities provider, revealed today its seventh North Texas office space that will open in North Dallas area called Common Desk – Addison. The 26,500-square-foot coworking space is the brand’s first location with landlord Cawley Partners. Slated to open in spring 2019, Common Desk members will enjoy collaborative office space on two floors in phase one of the highly-amenitized FOURTEEN5 office park. This announcement comes on the heels of most recent news of Common Desk’s expansion into the “Innovation District” of the West End neighborhood with Common Desk – Factory Six03.

“We’ve heard so many requests to bring Common Desk to the Lower Tollway/Addison area over the years,” said Nick Clark, founder and CEO of Common Desk. “FOURTEEN5 is a visionary project with a robust amenity set, and it provides the perfect space for our exciting entry into Addison. More so, the opportunity to collaborate with Cawley, a nimble and well-regarded local firm, was incredibly attractive to us. We’re excited to work with the Cawley team to make an already elite building even more special.”

Both companies are focused on creating an unmatched tenant experience in the workplace to help coworking members and building tenants easily access attractive amenities.

Common Desk – Addison will feature contemporary finishes throughout the space with high ceilings and modern windows allowing in natural light. The coworking space will include a mix of private offices, team spaces, shared and dedicated desks, flexible work environments like collaborative booths and banquettes, and game and cocktail lounges. Additional amenities for members and tenants of the building include boot camp-style fitness classes under Common Desk’s Social Mechanics brand.

Further, the FOURTEEN5 development features a courtyard and a separate three-story amenity building called The Hub, which includes a full-service restaurant with indoor-outdoor seating on the ground level, Ascension Coffee and a fitness center on the second level, as well as an open-air, covered terrace with games and lounge seating on the third level. Additionally, a conference facility is located on the first level of the phase one office building.

FOURTEEN5 is situated directly off Dallas North Tollway and Landmark Boulevard. Phase one of the development is already 92 percent leased.

“We’ve seen the caliber of space Common Desk delivers and the types of tenants this rapidly-growing coworking firm attracts,” said Jeremy Duggins, Cawley Partners project leasing manager. “We have no doubt that a partnership with Common Desk is a perfect match for this Class-A building. With Common Desk, we’ll be able to provide an innovative environment with unique features that will appeal to current and future FOURTEEN5 tenants.”

Common Desk turned six in October and currently operates four coworking locations throughout North Texas, covering 70,000 square feet of space, with more openings slated for early 2019. For more information on Common Desk, visit thecommondesk.com.
