GAINESVILLE, Fla. (May 20, 2019) — Instagrammers, get ready: An exciting new food concept is rolling into Gainesville – conveyor belt-style.
Nine Spices Fondue is now open and ready to serve.
The approximately 900-square-feet restaurant located at 3333 SW 34th St. in Gainesville specializes in traditional hot pot, or Chinese fondue. Hot pot can be completely customized to your liking and the combinations are limitless.
When dining at Nine Spices Fondue, guests are seated at tables with individual burners. They each select a soup base, which is heated. They can then select from a la carte meals or opt for All You Can Eat, pulling meats, vegetables, dumplings and other delicious ingredients from a conveyor belt that runs throughout the restaurant. To top off an amazing meal, diners can mix up their own sauce blend or flavor their soup base at the sauce bar, which features more than a dozen sauces and mix-ins.
The restaurant also serves freshly squeezed fruit juice, teas and smoothies.
Nine Spices Fondue is the third hot pot concept opened under the Nine Spices name. Its sister restaurants are Nine Spices Hotpot in Orlando and Nine Spices Hot Pot in Davie.
“From pulling items off the conveyor belt to cooking and seasoning meals to perfection, people love the interactive and authentic elements of Nine Spices,” said Jimmy Zheng, one of the owners of Nine Spices Fondue. “We’ve seen success with this concept in Davie and Orlando, and we’re excited to bring it to the Gainesville community.”
Nine Spices Fondue is located just down the road from the University of Florida. It is open every day, including all major holidays, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m., with the last seating at midnight.
