Ambius Grows Presence Coast to Coast with Two Acquisitions

Addition of Portland, Oregon and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida firms expand company's U.S. footprint

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT

Ambius, the global leader in creating enhanced commercial spaces and North America's largest interior landscape organization, is pleased to announce that Marshall Gardens of Lake Oswego, Oregon, and Glenn's Greenery of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida have joined the Ambius family of businesses. These acquisitions expand the Ambius presence in the Pacific Northwest and Florida markets to better serve a growing customer base, and further cement Ambius as the nationwide provider of interior landscapes. The deals were finalized in August and September, respectively; terms were not disclosed.

Marshall Gardens was founded in 2009 by Abigail Marshall and Patrick Alexander. The company provides customized, interior plant care and holiday design to commercial customers in the Portland, Oregon area.

Since 1976, Glenn's Greenery has specialized in providing interiorscape design, installation, maintenance, and short-term event services to businesses in South Florida. Robert Radler has been the owner/operator for more than 20 years.

The staff of both firms will remain on board with Ambius.

"With an increasing focus on health and wellness in business environments, providing innovative plantscape design has never been more important," said John Myers, President and CEO of Rentokil North America, the parent company of Ambius. "We are thrilled to welcome the Marshall Gardens and Glenn's Greenery teams to Ambius and look forward to continuing to provide the excellent service their customers have come to rely on."

"In seeking a way to keep Marshall Gardens, a leading-edge company, both Patrick and I looked for a partnership with just the right sort of organization. One that wanted to build on what we have founded and continue to provide excellent service for our customers and employees. We’re certainly excited, with Ambius they’ll have more options from plant design to ambient scenting and service that is second to none," Abigail Marshall, owner and founder of Marshall Gardens said of her decision to sell to Ambius.

Robert Radler of Glenn's Greenery echoed similar sentiments. "We are excited for what this merger will mean for our team and our valued clients. The focus that Ambius places on their employees’ well-being was extremely important in our decision. Our technicians will receive ongoing education in the newest innovations in our field, showing they know how important it is for them to be the best.”
