Renowned 'Modern Expressionist' painter, Carla Carli Mazzucato, exhibits new works in California.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT
A special presentation of new paintings by renowned Italian artist, Carla Carli Mazzucato, will begin on April 2, 2020, at La Bottega Gallery in Laguna Beach, California.
Recognized as a leading contemporary artist by the SoHo Fine Arts Institute in 2000, and an innovator of the ‘modern expressionist’ movement by Samuel Sachs II, former director of the Detroit Institute of Arts, Carla Carli Mazzucato paints with a distinct style that has been lauded by numerous art critics in Europe and the United States since her first art exhibit in 1969.
Mazzucato’s work has travelled the world, from New York and Palm Springs, to Toronto and Dallas, in addition to presentations made in Italy, France and South Korea. Her paintings have been installed in private and corporate collections including those of the Michigan Opera Theater, the Italian Consulate in Detroit, and the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Bolzano, Italy.
The new exhibit includes a recently completed series of large paintings by the artist that celebrate “Nature’s Song” with dynamic landscapes that both invoke memories of the artist’s homeland in northern Italy and create a bold, new expression born of her many decades of travel and artistic exploration.
An opening reception for the exhibit, attended by the artist, will be held on April 2, 2020, from 6—9pm at La Bottega Gallery at 376 N. Coast Highway, Laguna Beach, CA 92651. La Bottega Gallery has specialized in fine art etchings, sculptures and original paintings from a variety of artists around the world for over thirty years.
