The Humble Artesian League of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) named Samona Grant the 2020 Women of Excellence. Each year Humble Artesian emphasizes the outstanding achievements of our members by electing a Woman of Excellence. The Federation of Houston Professional Women at an annual banquet recognizes the Woman of Excellence each year. An FHPW Women of Excellence Honoree is a woman that has demonstrated excellence in her profession and the community, and one that leaves a lasting impression on the organizations she serves and the people she helps.
The Federation of Houston Professional Women (FHPW) is a Houston group that has many different kinds of chapters in it. The FHPW sponsors this Woman of Excellence event to honor outstanding businesswomen in the Houston area. The WOE award is only given out one time to a woman no matter what group she is in. Funds raised by the event support scholarships for women in our community.

Samona is a native Houstonian who currently resides in Humble, Texas. Although her primary service areas are in North Houston, she is equally committed to assisting clients with real estate needs throughout Houston and surrounding areas. In addition to real estate, Samona has an extensive background in Customer Service which is the key focal point in how she engages with her clients. Over the years she has developed a personal brand of getting things done and her real estate business has been built around one guiding principle: It's all about you.
The Humble Artesian Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association has a long history in our area. The Humble Charter Chapter was chartered in 1979, and the Artesian Chapter in 1981. The chapters combined their resources in 1989, becoming the Humble Artesian Chapter. The chapter continues to be a wonderful representation of the many businesses and services offered in our area.
The Humble Artesian League of ABWA is part of a national network of businesswomen. Founded in 1949, ABWA is a strong association of chapters and Express Networks nationwide. ABWA provides business skills training and networking opportunities for women of diverse occupations to enhance career advancement and personal development. ABWA has dedicated more than half a century to women’s education and provided workplace skills and career development for its members.
