Artificial Intelligence is no longer just a part of movies and TV shows. It is very much real and has now penetrated our lives and become an essential part of our everyday tasks. From voice assistants to self-driven cars and AI tools for businesses, there’s no denying that AI is already a part of every aspect of life. Driving this change is a diverse group of young innovators across the globe. Here are 6 wiz-kids who from a very young age are actively leading in technology and a great source of motivation for all.
<strong>Tanmay Bakshi</strong>
A tech extraordinaire and AI expert for IBM Tanmay Bakshi is nothing short of a wonder kid. At only 14 years of age, Tanmay had developed various apps, hosted a TED talk, published a book and has spoken at IBM Watson summits all over the world. He started coding at the age of five and soon started a YouTube channel to teach programming and coding. His YouTube channel has over 300 K subscribers. His latest project involves neural network, led by Darwin Ecosystem, an AI design firm, IBM’s CTO and Tanmay’s mentor Rob High and Not So Rocket Science, a cognitive computing company is called the Cognitive Story.
<strong>Aryan Singh</strong>
Aryan has developed AI apps, and emerging tech since the age of 12. He has been developing apps, AI models in conversative AI, human emotion, real estate, healthcare, supply chains, a real-life search engine, governance blockchains, and so on. The most promising project he is currently developing is INF0- an AGI using all various sector AI models for a multi-utilitarian AI. He started testing his projects at age 12 using his self-designed computer and OS which even semi-literate people can use to teach underprivileged children in India. He is well versed with multiple AI/ML and application frameworks. Having an experimental nature, his focus has been on developing applied deployable technology. At the age of 16, he was a visiting faculty at a state national engineering university. He started his AI startup and trained his own team of AI/ML developers, and develops emerging tech, computer vision, natural language, and various AI. He’s built tech projects with global industry organisations, MIT, Stanford University, and selected govt. innovation programs, educational institutions, and startups.
<strong>Pranav Savla</strong>
Pranav Savla is a 16-year-old programming expert doing his bit for the visually impaired by developing immensely useful apps. One of the most popular and helpful apps he’s developed is Vidhya Drishti, an app built to help the visually impaired express themselves in a creative manner. Another app he built for the same audience enables them to play entertaining games with groups and helped them bond with their friends and family. In his quest to help people with his apps, he has also developed one that helps people discover new books and explore the ones they have. Pranav started his AI journey with PyTorch, framework developed by Meta, and has diversified his skills into various AI fields.
<strong>Ayush Singh</strong>
A 14-year-old content creator and now an entrepreneur, Ayush Singh is one of the most popular AI experts in India. His 10-hour course on Free Code Camp has been recommended by MIT on their Twitter page and now has nearly one million views. Ayush has worked with some of the top AI companies and startups from around the world like Artifact, and ZenML and has also been named one of the youngest data scientists and machine learning engineers in the world. Currently, he works as a data scientist at Replayed and is now building his own startup, Antern.
<strong>Rishit Dagli</strong>
Rishit Dagli is known for his app, Smart Farm, which addresses various issues and problems faced by the farmers of India and helps them resolve the same. Rishit believes that technology should be used for the better good and t help the ones in need. To fulfil this objective, Rishit has also developed an app for child safety that has brought about a huge impact on his audience’s lives. PyTorch has been a very useful platform for Rishit as well and has enabled him to design and implement various AI projects ever since he was a young boy.
<strong>Kautilya Katariya</strong>
The holder of the Guinness World Record for the youngest AI programmer, Kautilya Kataria is a six-year-old wonder kid from the UK. Kautilya has completed a series of lessons from IBM about computer programming and concepts of coding languages like Python. As of today, he has completed IBM courses like Python for Data Science, Foundations of AI and a course on cognition. Kautilya is now looking to explore advanced courses on Applied AI that will help him build a chatbot for his website and hopefully give him answers to questions on programming and AI.
