Michelangelo Canale has founded the Sarasota Classical Ballet Conservatory to provide disciplined, tradition-focused classical ballet training in Sarasota.

Ballet teacher and choreographer Michelangelo Canale has launched Sarasota Classical Ballet Conservatory, a new school dedicated to classical ballet training in Sarasota, Florida.

The conservatory will focus on technique, discipline, artistry, and the traditions of classical ballet, offering training for students seeking ballet education in the Sarasota area.

Canale’s background includes study at The Juilliard School and Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, along with professional experience connected to the Royal Winnipeg Ballet.

“Sarasota has a strong arts community, and I am proud to establish a conservatory devoted to the beauty and discipline of classical ballet,” Canale said. “My goal is to create a place where students can train seriously, grow artistically, and develop a lasting respect for the art form.”
