FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
A visually immersive psychological thriller exploring obsession, image culture, morality, and emotional redemption through the worlds of fashion photography and underground crime.
Internationally recognized filmmaker and screenwriter Danilo Del Tufo has officially announced CETTE VIE NOUVELLE, a stylish psychological neo-noir thriller set between New York and Los Angeles.
Blending psychological suspense, emotional tension, and visually driven storytelling, the project explores the dangerous intersection between beauty, voyeurism, exploitation, and image culture.
At the center of the story is Frank, a detached fashion photographer whose life begins to unravel after he becomes entangled with a mysterious underground photography club connected to murdered women, dark-web trafficking networks, and a conspiracy far larger than he imagined.
What begins as artistic curiosity quickly descends into paranoia, violence, and emotional reckoning.
Described as a premium psychological thriller with arthouse sensibilities and commercial potential, CETTE VIE NOUVELLE combines the visual sophistication of high-fashion editorial culture with the emotional intensity of neo-noir cinema.
The project explores themes of voyeurism, obsession, emotional responsibility, identity, morality, and the psychological power of images in the digital age.
Visually, the film merges:
high-fashion editorial aesthetics
neo-noir cinematography
surreal movement-inspired imagery
shadow-driven visual compositions
psychological thriller tension
The cinematic atmosphere draws inspiration from works such as Nightcrawler, Eyes Wide Shut, Prisoners, and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
“Cinema has the power to expose what people try to hide beneath surfaces,” says Danilo Del Tufo.
“With CETTE VIE NOUVELLE, I wanted to create a film that feels seductive and unsettling at the same time a psychological descent into obsession, beauty, guilt, and emotional responsibility. At its core, however, this is also a deeply human story about transformation and sacrifice.”
Designed as a premium festival-oriented thriller, CETTE VIE NOUVELLE is positioned for international film festival launches, prestige streaming audiences, and future feature-length or episodic expansion.
