When Storytelling Meets Craft: PaperCraft Brings a Stranger Things-Inspired 3D Packshot to Life

We are a hybrid agency–studio creating fully crafted visuals under one roof. Our Stranger Things–inspired 3D eyewear packshot blends mood, storytelling, and cinematic detail, reflecting the rise of India’s AVGC creative industry.

We are an agency and a studio rolled into one. That means we do not just think in ideas and strategies, we also build them with our own hands. From concept to final pixel, everything lives under one roof. This approach came to life most recently in our latest project, a Stranger Things–inspired 3D product packshot created for a uniquely designed pair of glasses.

The eyewear features carefully woven Stranger Things–related design elements that feel familiar yet fresh. Retro cues, subtle textures, and an atmosphere of mystery come together without overpowering the product itself. The 3D packshot was designed to feel cinematic and immersive, as if the glasses belonged in a world where the ordinary is never quite ordinary.

Rather than recreating scenes or characters, our focus was on emotion. The lighting, materials, and composition were crafted to reflect suspense, nostalgia, and curiosity. The result is a visual that does more than showcase a product. It tells a story and invites viewers to lean in and look closer.

Being both an agency and a studio allows us to blur the line between thinking and making. Creative direction, design, and 3D execution happen in constant conversation with each other. That collaboration is what allows a product packshot to feel intentional instead of decorative.

This project also arrives at a meaningful moment for the creative industry in India. The animation, visual effects, gaming, and comics sector is emerging as a powerful engine of employment and creativity. As this industry grows, it will require nearly two million skilled professionals by 2030. Through focused support such as AVGC labs in schools and colleges, we aim to build a strong bridge between education and meaningful employment,” the Finance Minister said during the Union Budget 2026 address. For studios like ours, it is encouraging to see the kind of work we do reflected in national conversations about the future of work.

As brands compete for attention in digital spaces, strong visuals are no longer a luxury. They are essential. This Stranger Things–inspired 3D packshot reflects how storytelling, skilled artists, and evolving technology can turn a simple product into a moment of connection.

Sometimes creativity works quietly. Sometimes it sparks curiosity. And sometimes, like this project, it reminds us that great design always leaves a little room for wonder.
